Project Graduation
Project Graduation is an all-night party for graduating Seniors. The purpose of the event is to celebrate the accomplishments of the Seniors and more importantly, to demonstrate celebrating can be done in a safe, drug and alcohol-free environment.
The event is lock-in style. Seniors arrive, are checked in and may not leave until approximately 5:00 a.m. the next morning (specific times TBD and will be announced at a later date). Parents/guardians must sign a release for participation (if Senior is under the age of 18). Parents will be notified if the Senior is registered for the event and does not show.
Parents, family members, friends and SENIORS support this event annually through their fundraising efforts. ALL monies raised via our fundraising efforts are for the sole purpose of hosting this event. We provide food, drink and entertainment for the entire time of the event.
Fundraising for this event is a very large undertaking as we have approximately 400 graduates. This event is all-inclusive to every graduating senior regardless of how they are attending (LHS, alternative and virtual).
This event is entirely formed and made possible by Volunteers. Parents also serve as volunteers at the all-night party. We need YOUR help as we have several fundraising events, some running simultaneously, throughout the school year. If you have not recently filled out a Lapeer Community Schools Volunteer form, please fill one out via the link below.
If you are not able to participate, please consider making a donation via the PaySchools link below.
Our main platform for communication is our Facebook group, Lapeer High School Project Graduation: Class of 2025. Please follow this page for the most up-to-date information.
Finally, please encourage your Senior to participate at our events. We solicit local businesses for support and the presence of Seniors helping at our events is essential in our efforts.
