This session will focus on my journey as a theater artist, a professional stage manager both in Detroit and with Walt Disney Entertainment, an educator, and now a high school administrator. Regardless of the “role” I’ve played, the skills are the same, enabling the “show” to go on. Learn which skills will empower you to lead on life’s “stages.”

Led by former assistant principals now in their first years as principals, this session offers practical insights into transitioning to the principalship. Participants will learn strategies for managing increased work duties, building strong community connections, setting meaningful goals and developing a clear vision. Through real-world experiences and guided discussions, attendees will gain actionable tools for a confident and impactful start in their new role.
